This drawing of a beaten-up van was inspired by a van I saw several times in New York City. It has apparently never had it’s front bumper properly re-attached since an accident years ago, except via a DIY job using ropes. If it could talk it would have some incredible stories – I really wanted to buy the van and put it in an art gallery it had so much personality. The graffiti on the side probably dated from the early days of the NYC graffiti-scene, but my updated Amok tag isn’t just as old.
